I am a beginner when it comes to indoor climbing so I am not able to offer a constructive critique of these shoes, which more advanced climbers may find useful. However, if you are also a novice where climbing is concerned I can recommend these shoes. My only complaint is that the fit isn’t quite as narrow as I would like. The rubber feels very sticky and the velcro makes these easy to put on and (more importantly) remove. They are also surprisingly comfortable, I bought a pair a half size smaller than my regular size, although with hindsight I would recommend going a full size down – the greater initial discomfort will be offset by the increased performance. All in all, I highly recommend this shoe if you are looking for a good first pair.
