good way to see the lay of the land ahead of you. and like you said the decent is tricky I am not planning on fathering anymore children but still don’t want to be castrated. : D

I’d like to see some good spike climbing stuff. I was going to get a pair for my boots but, WOW, expensive.
Hmmm, I wonder if I can come up with some improvised gear. Naa.

hahah yea i try not to improvise gear that keeps me from falling to my death. If you are looking for a cheap pair find a big pawn shop or trading post near you, i see them all the time here, i got mine for 20 bucks, there was a strap busted but i took it to an amish guy here and he fixed me up for 5$, i got a 200 dollar pair of spikes for 25. just a tip.
