I do like how he dumped the last limb thou. Sometimes I’ll throw a looprunner to pull a limb thats about to go. Must plan ahead for stuff like that thou. Overall 5 starz bro. Nice PPE!
Dude didnt check his rope below him before he almost cut the last limb on it. Falling limbs can entangle in ropes beneath you. Why did he cut the top out before the left lead over the power line. We he afraid by holding the left limb first it whould have shaken to top down on um>?
take ya time….. must be that pusskavarna your using, heard of a lowering line little man
Hey lets see you throw on a pair a spikes and climb your ass up there and take out that lead without droppin it on the powerlines FAG =]
@brandn490 was a power line there he was hinging it in towards the tree
wats with scarfing the bigest limb thats not going to go anywere but down with a back cut?
cool video, might i ask why all the climbing though? wouldnt it be safer to fall it at the stump??
@husky394xp Thanks for the great comment ! cheers
ACE
WOW! Excellent job.
that last cut was PERFECT! I like the way you used a notch undercut and broke the limb after top cut and held it from the wires .I woud have use rope. Good job!
@rbtree FAG
@rbtree shut tha fck up tree boy
Or know how to cut so that the saw NEVER gets caught…..that’s what us pros know to do.
And, just in case, use a breakaway lanyard.
Say what? What do you think chain brakes are for? You don’t realize Ace and his company are top notch?
You’re seeing things, methinx. Ace made that cut perfectly. Cut it a bit off the direction of fall so it wouldn’t pop, then left enough holding wood so that he could break it off, and swing it in and away from the wires.
Personally, I’d have used a top handled saw and had one hand on the limb for security while cutting up the hinge…or used a sling to hang the limb, then cut off the short butt that the sling was on. But that would have shock loaded the top some with that fair sized limb.
gd job missing those wires, they can b such bastards to workaround.
good job ace. it almost looked like from the video you might have needed a rope on the limb over those wires but you got it. BTW what size husky is that. see you on treeworld… stihlrockin200t/topnotchtc
I would not ever be that high
The final large limb removal, he looks closely at his cut, bit too close to the face if you ask me , should something split and hit him in the face, my only concern as a new comer.
overall nice job, quite a big bar up that high, some smaller units are putting alot of power out nowadays.
what is wrong with leaving a saw running whilst attached to your harness, isnt that what top handle saws are designed for ? You dont want to have to constantly start your saw if you are for example delimbing a large conifer with a couple of hundred small limbs.
hehe my dad has his ownn job and he dose tree cuting and land scaping and dif stuff lol good job btw i sub oh btw i love climbing trees for fun
i might be becoming a qualified arborist in the new year is it a good job.. ive done ground crew before nd it was boring.
Never leave a running chain saw hanging from your saddle.
Never hold the top grip with your right hand either….dumbass
you make real arborists look bad!
Woooohooohooohoooooooo! I plan on becoming a certified Arborist but man do I gotta get over my fear of heights!
Woodsman90 you are full of shit, why do you think saws have lanyards that biner to your harness, its so you don’t drop an expensive piece of hardware. If you know your job the saw wont get stuck in a limb. Also lanyards are short so they cant let the saw fall far and thus stop it pulling you out of the tree.
