The wealth around us – A peek around the Enota retreat in Hiawassee, GA
This is the painfully beautiful Enota retreat at 1000 Hwy 180 in Hiawassee, GA. I was called in to have a look at their hydroelectric powerplant slated for activation in the near future. it is a hydraulic powered system, with an intake at the high end of that waterfall. The problem is quite complex so I will be returning with climbing gear to complete my inspection of the 40’s era hydraulic rig that remains up there. I have my doubts it was meant for such an application. If anyone has any ideas, I will be posting more of Enota’s unique problem in the coming week.
