Actually this type of swiss seat is an accepted method but it is poorly demonstrated here. I would not use this video as a resource if I were YOU!
he’s tying it wrong. you do NOT start out with over hand knot leg loops, that will pinch your webbing and mes it up, not to mention yes its asymmetrical, you’re going to end up dislocating a hip if you fell with that harness… this video is a recipe for disaster

by the way the carabiner is called a Snap Link, hell D clip is better. Amateurishly done and doesnt look safe.
HAHAHAHA there are freshman let 1’s with 0 rope experience that can tie a swiss seat twice as good as that and be twice as effective. and a swiss seat is made with a rope not a piece of webbing with 2 leg holes XD

now we are talking an actual video on making a harness out of webbing but a point to note is that it is not just any webbing like you get at the camping store, it is climbing tape and is tubular, and the water knot is what i call a threaded tape knot.
